I don't have time to do a big blog but I wanted to hurry and post some pictures. I couldn't resist the bow! She is so small. When we left the hospital she was only 6lbs 5oz. That is 2 lbs smaller than Trey was when he was born, and Trey was 2 1/2 inches longer! We had to get premie diapers!
Trey introducing the other member of our family to Brooklyn, "Shark!"

Finally ready to go home from the hospital. I went in Saturday evening and didn't leave until Tuesday. I was ready to go home! Thanks Kathy (Jed's mom) for the cute blanket to bring her home in.

Trey admiring his baby sister. He loves her so much and always has to have her with us. We have tried to set her down and do things with just him and he always says "Oh no! Baby!" and then runs to find her.

Trey wanted a big photo shoot in the hospital. He kept kissing her, laying next to her, gently patting her head. Anything for the camera. She has some bruising on her nose because she was face up until the last minutes, thankfully she turned after 17 hours of back labor! Yes 17 hours. Because she was considered premature they couldn't induce my labor faster but they couldn't send me home because I was in labor. Jed and I walked the halls, then Jed got tired and watched me walk. After 7 hours I finally got an epidural but then everything stopped so then they had to start pitocin. Finally I had a fast, easy delivery that made me forget the last 17 hours, especially knowing that everything was okay with her. We are so thankful that she was perfect and got to come home right away and didn't have any complications.

Trey the first time that he met her. He is telling Jed that that is baby. He loves holding her and helping with diaper changes. He always plugs his nose and says stinky. He also brings me a diaper and waits for his turn to be changed and lays on the changing pad when Brooklyn is done and tells me that he is stinky too.
